Very nice and clean for a budget friendly hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating and the breakfast was pretty good. I would for sure recommend this hotel if staying in Dublin and not warning to be on the thick of the city.

I loved the location. Right next to Delaney's, Cobblestone and Jameson. It was nice and quiet and walkabale to a lot of cafes. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice.

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable beds. Sparkling clean. The absolute only thing that we didnt like was that the pedestrian square its located on is awash with homeless people and people taking drugs and begging. The smell of cannabis in the air is incredibly strong. Nobody was using trouble but it just brings the place down.

Bar was lovely, every encounter I had whether getting a late night drink or just ice for my water bottle in the AM, they were friendly and funny! Staff was great overall. Check-in was easy and quick! Location was convenient! There were some homeless around every night we stayed, and around 5-6am if you had your window/door open you could hear them rummaging through the trash before the trash trucks came to collect. If you're not an early morning person, this can get noisy. No AC and no washcloths, but our group knew that beforehand. Would still highly recommend!

It was wonderfully clean and fresh, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was good. The Smithfield neighborhood is interesting, and has more local folks than center city. It’s also less than a half block from the Cobblestone, so it’s super easy to take in a session and a pint. Would stay here again.

The location was good for us. It was close to the train and close to the Jameson Distillery. The breakfast option was too late to be useful but the hotel graciously provided a carry out breakfast which was kind but needed to be pastries rather than eggs and fruit which we would have chosen if we were having a sit down breakfast. If you have an early departure for the airport, I would recommend skipping the breakfast. The hotel did help us arrange our taxi and the hotel was clean. No air conditioning which we did not need so that was fine.

I would have given 5 stars because the font desk staff was good and so was the room. The location was great too. Unfortunately though on one day housekeeping did a rushed and not very thorough job. They even only left two towels for 3 adults. That aside, the hotel was a great choice for us.

We had a wonderful stay at the Maldron Hotel Smithfield! Being able to park downstairs and check in early at 10:00 AM after an overnight flight into Dublin was a huge plus. We dropped our bags and immediately headed out to explore. The location is unbeatable: the Jameson Distillery tour is right next door, Collins Barracks is a quick walk away (free entry and a great café!), and the Fresh Market right downstairs made grabbing drinks and snacks so convenient. We walked over to Temple Bar for dinner, though taxis were readily available for anyone wanting a ride. Breakfast the next morning was delightful, featuring a fantastic spread of hot and cold options—the rashers, Irish sausage (my personal favorite!), black and white pudding, fresh fruit, breads, and pastries were all delicious. Checkout was a breeze, making for a completely stress-free stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Well placed with available parking. Lovely helpfull staff, good breakfast. Only downside was that bathroom was not very well cleaned, and long waits for elevator but that was probably temporary because one elevator seemed out of order. Generally lovely stay, good room and well placed with a lot of restaurants nearby and not too long walk to temple bar and grafton street.
