The bathroom smelled bad when we checked in and there was no vent or exhaust fan so we told the front desk staff and manager but they were nonchalant about it and didn’t say they’d fix it. Also the airconditioning was intermittent so the room got very stuffy and hot. The bar and restaurant staff were very nice, their service was good, and the food was good.

The rooms were very quiet and had a modern decor with very comfortable beds. The hotel is directly across from a tram station & walkway along the canal. It is a 10 minute walk from the closest Aircoach stop to/from the Dublin airport (Leeson Str, Lower). The staff were very attentive & rearranged our room assignment so that we could check in early when we arrived before check in time after an overnight transatlantic flight without being asked. This was very kind and was unexpected but very much appreciated ! Breakfast was not included but the restaurant had an extensive menu or a buffet was available. Overall a good place to stay a little off the beaten path.

Hotel was great. However we came on a busy weekend so staying here was a bit of a walk to city center. I’d say this hotel appeals to businesses more so than tourists. It is near a cable line so at least that was a good option. So it was about a 10 min walk to get to edge of city cente and another 20 min to get to Temple Bar area fyi.
