A good hotel choice in Dubai Marina. Although the room was smaller than expected for Dubai, it offers excellent value for money. The property is well kept, the staff are very responsive, and while traffic nearby can be heavy at times, that is to be expected when staying on Marina Walk.

Property is ideally located close to JBR walk where there are a good choice of restaurants. The rooms are clean with a nice bed and bathroom. There were a lack of mains sockets with most of them hidden behind the table under the tv which would require moving to gain access. This made it difficult to plug in my appliances. The breakfast choice is really good with a wide range of choices to cater to your needs. The pool was good and whilst it was busy there were enough sunbeds and shades to cater for everyone. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly ensuring my stay was enjoyable

This was my second stay at the Sofitel, and I was every bit as impressed as I was the first time. From the moment you arrive, the level of service is exceptional. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely make you feel valued — remembering who you are and the little details that make a stay feel personal. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant and luxurious, but it’s the consistently high standard of hospitality that really sets it apart. Every aspect of my stay was seamless, from the service to the surroundings and overall atmosphere. Returning for a second visit and receiving the same exceptional experience says a lot. Sofitel continues to deliver the kind of refined, five-star hospitality that makes you want to return. A truly wonderful stay once again and most definitely not my last.

Hotel was great, clean and good location on The Walk. Food was very good (we had DBB). The only negative is the pool area. There are crows that swoop over the sun beds looking for food. Some people are feeding them which encourages the problem. If any food is left or dropped on the floor they are on it and sitting on your sun bed eating it! There are often bird droppings on the sun beds. The staff were not bothered by it at all.

Lovely hotel with easy access to JBR beach and surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and accommodating and room cleaned to a high standard. They also threw in a surprise cake for my partner’s birthday which was a lovely touch to our stay. Would definitely recommend the Sofitel if you are looking to stay in the JBR area

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and clean. Excellent shower. Only faults were lack of full length mirror and lack of sockets, however did not detract from overall comfort. Slightly disappointed in pool area both due to size - rather small for size of hotel and number of guests and it only catches sun from around 1pm. Beach is only across the road so easy to spend time there. Hotel will supply towels, mats, umbrellas and water. Overall a good stay
