Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Below standards
Checkin was ok, the hotel staff was ok at the beginning but this changed after the 1st day, the state of bathroom was below standards, we found previous guests cleaning tissues at the bed, a spare hair drier was given to us, the bed sheets was never replaced during our 5 night stay as well as the both bins , they should be better trained.
This was quite possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
The hotel is run down, with fittings broken or falling off. It was so noisy inside the hotel overnight, the lift continually making a pinging noise, sound of running water during the night. Tea/coffee making facilites supplied but without a kettle!! How it's rated 3* I'll never know.
Fortunately I only chose this hotel as it was close to people I was seeing so spent little time in there. I cannot state this enough.. avoid this hotel.
The hotel was just ok. Nothing more. I don't know their standards of cleanliness but it was a little less than what I am used to. I made a joke to a friend who was with me that some one was stabbed in the elevator. I said that because there were mysterious stains all over the carpet. Parking was a huge issue. There was a parking lot right next door, but this hotel is in a pretty sketchy neighborhood and the guy who owned the parking lot decided that rates went the second night that we were there. The bathroom was tiny and even though the beds were made I never got the feeling that the place was "clean." The biggest disappointment was the fact that the hotel was in a very crowded and noisy area. You could easily hear everyone outside at night and in the morning.
