Misleading Rental

Here is the good and bad about my stay here in Dubai. The Bad: I specifically chose to rent this apartment because the listing stated there would be beachfront access, have 2 large bedrooms, and have a washer and dryer. Soon after arriving in Dubai I was notified by the front desk staff that the beach access has been closed for over 2 months and they don't believe it will be open soon. After going up to my room I noticed that the washer/dryer was a single combined unit, but the dryer function was disabled. I called in regarding this issue and they said they would get back to me. ( I never heard back and had no dryer for the entire stay, I dried my clothes outside since there was a conveniently placed drying rack out there) The beds were rock hard and felt cheap along with the TV, stereo and other appliances. they looked ok, but were not plugged in and looked like they were there for show. The Good: This apartment was tremendous in size. Great sized patio and bedrooms. Overall, I would not have purchased this rental if I knew the beachfront was going closed during my trip and the dryer did not work. I will not rent here again as this listing was written in a deceptive manner.

Nice apartment NO ENTRANCE TO THE BEACH.

The apartments are beautiful, very nice and clean, but we booked this apartment for the beach location, and they don't allow you, no even walk at their beach. They explained us it is a legal problem with the builder of the condo and the beaches are private! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY FORVIDEN TO ENTER THE SAND. if want to go to the beach they will SELL you a stay in a hotel near by. If it is your first time in Dubai, stay at Down Town, if you want to enjoy the beach stay away from this place. There is not wifi in the common areas, each apartment has their own wifi private signal, the information about wifi in common areas is incorrect. Is not much to do at THE PALM if you ar not allow to walk at the beaches. Try another location.

Jättetråkigt att det stod att de har strand att använda men de hade problem med licens eller dyl så vi fick inte använda den underbara stranden! Jättedåligt att det inte stod på hotell beskrivningen.

Awful - never come back

It was my worst experience in Dubai, really awful ! To give a quick view of what's happened : - I booked and paid 1 month and half before / They called me 2 weeks ago to confirm. I confirmed and tell us that I will check-in late, there was no issue. - Chek-in late at 3 am my reservation was lost and we hadn't a room - We were 3 so first night I slept one the couch because they only found a room with one bed - Second day the manager should came but she was never show up - Second night they added a terrible small bed, really unconfortable - Manager still unreachable - After at least 4-5 hours lost with concierges, I finally got a normal bed for the 3rd night in the living room - Only two towels for 3 people - The reception is actually a concierge and he cannot do anything to help... only send emails. - We were out of shampoo and soap and they didn't want to offer us new ones. - They scanned the wrong page of my passeport I was there to work it was a complete mess and lost of time for everything. Whatever you can ask prepare yourself to wait, at least 2 days and five reminders, even if the answer is no like for the soap and shampoo. I will never come back and please choose another place if you want to rest or work in Dubai !

عندي وصولي اخبروني ان الشقه غير جاهزه وانها متسخه وطلبت الغرفه الثانيه تكون ثلاث اسره منفصله ولم احصل على سرير ولا حتى بطانيه واطالب بتعويض على عدم الاهتمام وغير متحدثين للغه العربية
