We had a nice stay at this hotel. The receptionist at the hotel went out of her way to call the local Italian restaurant to get us a reservation for dinner and made sure they would stay open for us. The hotel breakfast was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful.

We pre-booked three rooms at this hotel, which had a rating of 9.2, so we expected a good experience. However, when we arrived around 9 p.m. on September 21, 2024, we were shocked to find the hotel completely dark, with no lights on anywhere. There was no one at the front desk, and we had to call the hotel to get assistance. Eventually, a lady showed up, knowing that we had three rooms booked. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. When I booked the hotel, breakfast was included, but upon arrival, she informed us it would cost an additional 18 euros per person (I still need to double-check this condition with Orbitz). When we got to our rooms, they were clean, but the comforters were damp, which made the stay uncomfortable. I couldn’t fall asleep until very late. The next morning, despite Orbitz listing the check-out time as 11 a.m., a gentleman knocked on my door at 10:15 a.m., speaking in German, which I couldn’t understand, but he sounded angry. Even after I showed him the check-out time listed on Orbitz, he insisted that check-out was at 10 a.m. Overall, it was a terrible experience—damp comforters, no one at the front gate for check-in, the entire hotel being dark and spooky, and the overall discomfort made the stay really unpleasant.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommener Gasthof-Hotel. Alles ringsherum sehr zugewachsen. Fehlt ein wenig die Pflege. Zimmer sind zwar zum Teil restauriert, aber nur einfach. Fernseher im Doppelzimmer so groß wie ein PC. Preise viel zu teuer. Frühstückspreis geht garnicht.

Adequate stay. Hosting could be improved.

Beds were comfortable. But.... Bed pillows were awful, hardly any feathers or stuffing. Had to ask for extra but ended up rolling up bath towels to get a bit of neck elevation. Breakfast was only 8-9 which was a shame as we were sitting and chatting and got shoved out quite abruptly at 9.15 after only being in there 30mins. 1hr is not enough time!!!! We asked for extra coffee on day 1 but by day two we were rudely ignored. So all in all breakfast hosting was pretty poor!! Rooms were clean and warm just a shame the breakfast was too rushed, especially on a weekend when we wanted a lay in!!!! With no tea or coffee in rooms we felt having more than one cup per person at breakfast wasnt too much to ask.....
