"Modern, close to the beach. Only 6-8€ taxi anywhere centre of town. 2 € bus rides literally from outside the hotel door. Staff in reception very polite and helpful. Spa is excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast is so so. Minor choices. Chef’s not always so approachable and hit and miss on dark/ fresh bread selection. Bean to cup coffee is very poor and although they have fresh grinder and an italian style available its not being offered. Palma is a coffee lovers dream city with fresh roasted beans and excellent coffee and bakery everywhere. There is a Luiz perez just outside of the hotel that offers decent coffee. There is restricted access to rooftop pool from 10am and people lining up. Its very hot during summer so from 7 am to 10 and would have been a great time . Its not a 5 start establishment but a good 4-4.5 and gains due to location, modern facilities and spa"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Alua Calvià. The room was spacious and easily accommodated our family of four, making it a comfortable place to relax after our days exploring Mallorca. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants, shops, beaches, and family-friendly activities all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself was well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a good job overall, although the floors could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. Other than that, the room was well looked after. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Unfortunately, none of the four of us really enjoyed it, and we found the selection and quality to be the weakest part of our stay. Despite that, we had a great experience overall. The comfortable rooms, fantastic location, and outstanding staff more than made up for the breakfast, and we would definitely stay at Alua Calvià again."

"Room was kept immaculate. Cleaning staff were so friendly also! Clean towels and bed linen every day! The whole hotel was so clean. The food was lovely, massive selection and all really fresh and tasty. Good selection of drinks. Couldn’t really fault much at all. We had a lovely stay."
