2/10 Terrible

"Payed a lot of money for a room that was on the first floor in the back of the old building looking at a parking lot. The room smelled moldy and musty. Things in the room felt damp. There were only two places to eat and nothing healthy to eat. The shower was made for wheelchair which is fine, but it didn’t drain and water went all over the floor."

"Tropical Breeze Resort is a fantastic place to stay for a vacation, with the beach just around the corner. The property is well kept and very quiet and peaceful. The pool and hot tub were pleasant additions, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. However, we did encounter a couple of issues during our stay. We ran out of towels on the first night, and no washcloths were provided. The beach towels in our room were quite sandy after just one day. When we called the front desk, they assured us we could get more towels and washcloths. We also requested espresso pods for the coffee maker in our apartment. Unfortunately, despite calling every day, the supplies we requested didn't arrive until the night before we left. As a result, we had to make do with used bath towels and sandy beach towels, and we ended up purchasing our own espresso. Both my husband and I volunteered to retrieve these items from their office, but we were told they are provided by an outside service. It might be a good idea for them to keep some supplies on the property for travelers in need. Overall, I will definitely stay again; I'll just bring my own towels from home!"

"Great hotel and excellent service! The housekeeping team, front desk staff, and breakfast service were all outstanding. The location is very convenient, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again."

"Stayed at this location in Sarasota to be close to Siesta Key Beach. Great location and had use of the gym, free breakfast and also Free Happy Hour each evening. Nice room and friendly staff as well! WE probably should have booked two rooms but overall, beautiful room and relaxing stay at this hotel!"

"Staff was great and the hotel itself wasn't terrible. Only complaints would be limited options at breakfast (bagels, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs). And the air conditioner in the room was loud it sounded like a plastic bag blowing in the wind. The pool and pool bar were nice as well as the hot tub. There is a few restaurants within walking distance and a free shuttle that goes to siesta key. If I come back I would stay here again."
