Downtown Palm Harbor Hotels near St. Petersburg - Clearwater

"I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clearwater Beach on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, my experience was mixed. When entering the elevator, there was a strong unpleasant odor of humidity, which made a bad first impression. In the room, the air conditioning was disappointing — it didn’t cool properly and clearly lacked maintenance. On the positive side, the room itself was clean and in good condition, and overall, the rest of the hotel seemed well maintained. One thing I noticed is that the hotel advertises Spanish-speaking staff, but none of the front desk employees actually spoke Spanish — only English. This could be misleading for Spanish-speaking guests. On a brighter note, the valet parking staff was very friendly and professional. Just keep in mind there’s a $35 per night fee, which is automatically charged to your room. For me, this wasn’t really a problem, but it’s worth knowing in advance. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs better maintenance on the AC system and more accurate information regarding language support."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Pablo was very welcoming and hospitable and checked in with me to see how things were going. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Pool area was spacious enough and pool temp was perfect. I really enjoyed the shuttle service that dropped you off anywhere within a 3 mile radius and picked you back up. Yvette was also exceptional during my check out. I look forward to returning. "
