"Extremely roomy and well-appointed, very comfortable stay in a great location, just a few minutes from the ferry so great for walkers. Bus stop on the block, great transportation around the island. Enjoyed the view, excellent kitchen facilities, Marks & Spencer just a couple blocks away. Would definitely recommend for value for money. "

"A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour."

However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. "The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, although as is typical for buildings this old the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs.
