"I had a nice, functional stay at Gold King Mountain Inn to save some bucks to attend a convention being held at the more expensive, Chamonix Hotel and Conference Center. My room was well-appointed and clean, bed was comfortable. There are a few minor items such as a funny noise in the HVAC unit, a bit of color at the base of the shower curtain, and no breakfast or coffee offered. I ate at the conference anyway, so it was not a real issue for me. Also, having an internet connection to the television would be a nice, low-cost amenity to add. Firesticks can run as cheap as $9! The cable channels offered were pretty low-resolution. Thanks. I would stay here again."

"Great location. This is an older property and could do with some upgrading, but the grounds were well kept, the room was cool and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a free shuttle stop right behind the inn that travels to down town Manitou Springs and another that travels to Colorado Springs. Very convenient for taking in local sights without having to worry about finding parking or paying additional fees."

"Jason, the morning breakfast maker, made us DELICIOUS breakfast every morning. The guy mowing the yard (didn't catch his name) turned us on to The Mad Hatter for pizza and wings. Great tip. Great food. Employee's and guests were wonderful and you get the sense you are comfortably 'at home', which I believe is the whole 'vibe' they are shooting for. Room was small, but it worked. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the INNHale property. We will definitely be back."
