"Very nice especially for the price. Clean and comfy. Nice pillows. Beds have a metal edge that makes an annoying sound if kicked, but we only did that a few times. Sink is outside the bathroom which is great for more than one traveller. I’d certainly stay there again!"

"Great location near Univ of Oregon. Clean spacious room with inside corridors, if you request the “hotel”section of the property. Comfortable bed, super helpful staff. Cons: lots of stairs leading into building makes it difficult to handle luggage. Interior elevator is slow. Bathroom is very small and shower head is lower than normal. Lots of road noise starting at 5 am every morning."

"Valley River Inn has become our favorite place to stay when visiting Eugene. The newly renovated hotel is charming, clean, spacious, and has great amenities. We enjoy having the restaurant & bar onsite. The location isn't one closest to UO or walkable areas, but with a car this place is just perfect. The river trail makes for a beautiful walk to Autzen, if inclined to walk."

"The place was clean so bonus there. But the bed was reminiscent of sleeping on boulders. And loud like rustling plastic bags with every move. AC did not work. Luckily the chair was somewhat comfy to sleep for an hour."
