Negatives: (1) we reserved & paid for a superior room with 2 double beds but reception said they didn’t have any available at check in and put us in a standard room with 1 double bed. (2) hot water in shower runs out very quickly. (3) internet in room is very weak & unreliable.

Wonderful experience!

I loved my time at Hotel Zima! The staff was fantastic. They are pricey, especially for the area, but I left there very happy. The bed was comfortable and much better than most beds I’ve stayed in, in Costa Rica. The coconut flan at service at the restaurant was wonderful. I’d suggest they put a mini fridge and coffee/tea maker in each room, or have that available for guest use for free. If it was less expensive I’d definitely spend more time there!
