"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with gorgeous planting and lush greenery throughout the grounds. Our suite was incredibly spacious and nicely styled, with a huge, comfortable bed with excellent pillows. The large living room area featured a sizable TV and plenty of cozy seating, and minibar and great selection of glassware. "Such an amazing experience to stay here! So relaxing and peaceful. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the property grounds were so much fun to explore and soak in all the beauty. The meal we had at the restaurant here was one of our favorites from the whole trip. The whole experience was intimate and quiet in all of the best ways. If you're looking for a country-escape with incredible nature, I'd highly recommend!"

"This little rural stay is lovely! The staff is friendly and helpful. It is quiet and clean. The amenities are dated as one would expect in a traditional country home, but the decor is suiting and it is very clean and functional. It is the setting that makes this place so enjoyable. You can hear the horses and the sheep in the fields and a cute pair of little dogs make their daily rounds to visit. The birds are singing and other than that is is quiet. Fabulous views and easy to get into Ronda if that is your goal. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is very well located close to all the tourist sites, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and average size, a little dated but OK. Breakfast is fair value with fresh fruits, pastries, cold cuts, tea/coffee etc and a small hot section. Parking is available for Euro15 a day and it is linked to the hotel, so very well located. The Spa is excellent and well worth using"

"As the Parador was originally the town hall, room would have been large, therefore bedrooms very spacious - largest we've ever stayed in! Only hotel we have stayed in where we had to choose a br'fast time - disappointing as nice when relaxing, to be able to 'turn up' when it suits you! Not on the hour! fyi Some breakfast portions very small for what we were paying, eg smoked salmon triangles approx 2 inches across, 1 inch deep at longest depth."

"Fantastic pre-arrival communication from owner Gina, and a warm welcome when eventually reaching this idyllic place. Note that the location-pin shown on Google Maps is not accurate. It appears to show the accommodation to be in an urban area - it's not - it's very remote! So ignore any booking sites that state that there's a bar or shop within 100m - there really isn't! But the remote location is the main attraction of this place. The tranquility and views are second to none, and well worth the short trek up the rural track. The cabin (resembling a gypsy caravan) is comfortable and very well equipped, and is impressively insulated from the sun. I was expecting it to be an oven (August temperatures in the high thirties) but it was surprisingly cool. There is an a/c unit, but I rarely needed to use it. While some of the eco equipment may not be what some are used to, it all works just fine, and the quirkiness is part of the charm. There's a hot tub next to a spacious covered pergola with plenty of seating, plus loads of outdoor cooking facilities (including a BBQ and a pizza oven) - so it's a great place for a small group to really get away from it all for an alfresco break."
