"Everything was wonderful. We did have some issue with a sports event and room service being ordered which resulted in a very early wake up to food we did not order, nor want…but kids will be kids! Also, I was not a huge fan of the poolside room. The sliding glass doors are the entire wall and it was hard to keep the curtains completely closed…just felt a little exposed…but not the hotel’s fault, just personal preference."

" Becca was awesome. The only complaints I had were the pool and hot tub were closed one day. Also the fire alarm went off around 7 am on Sunday. Otherwise everything was clean and nice."

"We booked this because of a dance competition. We purposely purchased Friday - Monday so that my kids could go the Waterpark on Monday their only day free after the long weekend of competing. Nothing said it’d be closed in fact we received a paper at check in saying it was open. Only to find out it was closed at 4pm Sunday and not open at all during the week. What is the point of a waterpark hotel if you’re not even open? The rooms were very mediocre and were not very clean. The hotel has so much potential if only they tried a bit harder. What a bummer! "

"The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, and the robes were a nice touch. However, the king bed in our room was rock hard. I ended up trying to sleep in the room’s provided chair while my husband tossed & turned all night. So, if comfortable sleep during travel is important to you as it is to us, I recommend elsewhere unless they have other beds that are actually “pillow-top” as their description states. No microwave was also a drawback."

"We will never be returning to the Edgewater. We had some bad customer service. The car shuttle service was excellent, and the valet staff was friendly and nice. However, the front desk and the general manager failed us. When I called requesting housekeeping, the staff member had a language barrier and didn’t follow through on getting someone to come clean our room. We went two days without housekeeping despite multiple requests. I also asked twice to have the sheets and linens changed, and no one ever showed up. I ended up waking up with a rash on my face from the dirty bedding,. When we returned to our room, towels were everywhere and the garbage was overflowing. The manager showed up seeming like he had a stick up his a**, he was distasteful, dismissive, defensive and accusatory, he seemed offended that we’d ask for fair compensation for a bad experience on our wedding night. The front desk’s failure to follow through and the manager’s hostile attitude really ruined what should have been a memorable experience. 2/10 definitely not recommended."
