The “two bedroom” suite is really one big long room. There is no separation between them at all (no doors). It was awkward to book a “two bedroom” room to share with non-family friends. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a wide variety.

Beautiful inn and comfy room. Language barrier made it difficult to communicate but we managed. The inn provides so many amenities for entertaining young visitors and was set up beautifully. It was very cozy.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful stay characterized by friendly staff, clean rooms, yummy breakfast, and an atmosphere of vintage charm. We also loved the amenities (aka, the air hockey table downstairs)! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will be staying here. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Very quirky hotel, the kids loved it, only a slight issue was that we had to enter our room from an exterior door as opposed to the normal door off the corridor. Breakfast was amazing, we loved the themed tables! Would return.

Great Hotel for Young Families

What a fun and unique hotel! The kids (ages 2 and 5) absolutely loved it! Our room had bunk beds and a race car bed! Our 5 year old said he wants to live there forever. Great place for families!

It is a charming site

What a charming site. It is business since 1704, renovated of course but keeping a charming atmosphere. People there is friendly and helping. I arrived to hotel after hours and they made sure I was able to find my room key. Close to trial paths into the Black Forest if you like to run. A peaceful site. I can’t wait to return.

A medium sized hotel with lots of character, especially in the bar/cinema, & dining room; with a rich and eclectic collection of ornamentation. Alas, the clever technical novelties like a radio in the shower or powered pedal-bin did not compensate for soft and creaky beds, thin curtains, no blind over the velux roof light, and bedside light fittings right where you can easy bang your head. Unique hotel, bedroom was a great size with a comfy bed. Fridge in the room wasnt working properley however we had our own plug in coolbox so we were fine. As the temperatures were very high we asked for a fan in our room as no aircon and a huge fan was brought which really helped to cool the room down No bar or restaurant and all the places to eat in walking distance were closed on an evening but we found a couple of places within a 15 min drive. Highly recommend the Toscana Pizza at the golf club and the greek taverna in the next town. Hotel had a help yourself beer/wine fridge which was great however not very cold!.

This is the best hotel ever!! It’s gorgeous and decorated in a whimsical and fun way, you can tell they put so much love and care into the design and upkeep. The European style breakfast is fresh and delicious with lots of variety. The rooms are perfectly appointed with high quality bed linens, comfortable mattresses, nice TVs (not that we had time to use!) beautiful shower with lights and waterfall head, wonderful windows that open wide and a gorgeous church right outside our window. Parking is super convenient and free, and they have game rooms and a lounge and an absolutely beautiful garden and patio area with tons of seating. Wish we could stay here longer! Surrounding area is very quaint, no restaurants open while we were here but a quick drive to next town.

Exceptional Family-Friendly Stay at Hotel Rössle i

Our recent stay at the Hotel Rössle in Dobel, during our family trip from Paris to Munich, was unexpectedly delightful. Initially, my expectations weren't high, as the stop was merely for a night's rest. However, the hotel turned out to be a gem, especially for families. Our family of five, including three children, found it challenging to locate hotels that offer family rooms. Hotel Rössle stood out not only for accommodating us comfortably with six beds but also for the reasonable rate of €160 per night, breakfast included. The room was in excellent condition, and the staff went above and beyond in their friendliness and helpfulness. The breakfast was particularly impressive, catering to both adults and children. They even went as far as preparing non-pork ham for my kids, who have dietary restrictions. Moreover, the staff's gracious response to an accident involving my daughter breaking a spoon further highlighted their exceptional service. As an Asian family, we've faced varying degrees of service during our travels, but Hotel Rössle provided equal and respectful treatment throughout our stay. This experience has not only encouraged me to recommend the hotel to others but also ensured our return in the future.
