Disney's Maingate West hotel rooms a the Independent

"Was not happy my room smelled like mold. Paid 8 something and was not happy with the service we received . Asked house keeping to come and spoke to front desk. Was out for the day and house keeping lied and said we had the do not disturb sign on the door. So disappointed with this property. Wish I booked another hotel"

"My first stay at this hotel was excellent, which is why I decided to return; however, nothing was the same this time around. The rooms suffered from a lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Customer service had declined somewhat, and there were far too few elevators for the resort's capacity."

"2nd year bringing my family to aqua sol and it was a blast. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, staff was awesome, and rooms were well kept. Will be back next year! Highly recommend for families!"

"We were in Orlando for our son’s baseball tournament at NERP and we were very happy with our stay at this property. We would consider returning to this property in the future. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was excellent, friendly and always helpful when needed. Very spacious with the two bedroom layout for a family. Washer and dryer in the unit was great. We ate at Kenzies on property for one meal and enjoyed it. The pool near our unit had a slide and a bar but it was crowded and tough to find a lounge chair when we went. We enjoyed the other pool on property instead because it was quieter. Overall great property and excellent value compared to other properties in the same area at the same time. "

"The 5 bedroom had lots of space and a good layout. The kitchen had what we needed. It was not very clean, the hallway smelled like weed. We knew parking was going to be far away but it was definitely a hassle. "
