A Machine Gun Nest in an Iron Age Fort. This large pill box was constructed within the northern slope of this important Iron Age fort as part of the elaborate system of defences surrounding RAF Llandwrog. The beaches were also heavily mined. The railed off area in the foreground is a kiddies playground.

Dinas Dinlle Village from Dinas Dinlle Dinas Dinlle Village is dominated by Dinas Dinlle - an Iron Age fort. This view is taken from the ramparts of that fort. It shows the beach, which has gained the Blue Flag Award, and which consists of pebbles at the top and fine sand lower down (here hidden by the high tide). It is a popular venue for wind surfing. There are several cafes and shops in the village.
