"The best thing about Carr Mansion is the hostess. She is charming and accommodating. The house needs a deep cleaning and painting in some places though. The carriage house and backyard are not appealing, so stick to the main house. The breakfast was simple but good."

"Top notch service. The hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very comfortable and within walking distance from the sea wall and a lot of really good restaurants. That was a great benefit because parking down there is horrible. The breakfast was second to none. The whole stay was wonderful. We would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back. "

"Staff could not have been any kinder. The location is excellent. It is a short distance to Houston, Pasadena, La Porte, Clear Lake and Galveston. It was December and I was not able to take advantage of the lovely pool. However, this was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the Wyman House!"
