"Lovely room. Good location although the nearest parking for long stay is about 10 minutes walk, so not ideal with luggage. Very comfortable bed, great fluffy towels and well stocked toiletries. We did ask for a quiet room and so were placed in a family room next door to families, but they were quiet. Not sure on why that made sense to place us there though. We would come back and stay again."

"First of all the room was difficult to find as you had to go through an extra room door to get there. A big sign said 5 room numbers but only 2 room doors and neither my room number. Tried calling reception no answer. Eventually found a hotel maintenance person who showed me a very tiny sign printed in a small font that was difficult to read on one of those doors which said it led to 2 more rooms. Each had another door with key swipe. (Probably good for families) Better signage or info about finding the room, from reception would have helped. The room was extremely dark (although the bathroom was extremely large and bright) and nothing special for the money paid. When I was parking (free), I hoped my room had a water view but sadly it didnt have any view! It overlooked, and was above an entrance foyer which was noisy as people trundled cases. People on the 1st floor could see in your room as they walked down the corridor so had to close the curtains. I was there for an event which was good and the food nice. The breakfast was plentiful but no weetabix or fried eggs. Restaurant and some rooms - but sadly not mine- had a lovely view."

"A very good hotel with very helpful desk staff. However, we had asked for twin beds and arrived to find them pushed together as one bed. Also the bedside tables were visibly dusty. The toilet needed to be flushed more than once to do its job."
