"Taj has a great location for business or for being in the heart of Cape Town CBD. The Company Gardens are right across the street, as are a number of galleries, museums and so on. Close to Long Street and Green Market without being ON Long Street or Green Market... The service is excellent, super friendly. Great breakfasts. The J-Wellness Spa is wonderful, I always book in here when I visit. Mountain view from my room is great. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The last time I visited I thought that the food in the Mint restaurant was not to the high standard it had been on previous visits. "

"The V & E Waterfront is walkable from the hotel, but you do have to be aware of your surroundings. "

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful. It is a taxi ride from the waterfront but the uber is readily available. The concierge was really helpful with planning our trip and all of the staff were excellent. A special mention for the breakfast where fresh fruit was being continuously cut up. "

"The staff were great but the condition of the rooms could be improved because one of the two rooms we booked smelled damp and mouldy and had an extractor fan that would not switch off (which was really noisy at night). The other room was fine but there should be consistency. "
