"Fabulous hotel with lovely rooms and great food"

"The location cannot be beat! Best location for V&A waterfront - we stayed 5 nights. Staff are incredibly welcoming. Nice restaurant/bar and lobby. Hop On/Off bus Stop #2 is right across from the main door. Rooms are clean; lots of space for unpacking. The bathroom is part of the decor/ style of the room, but suggest some shelving for toilettries which could easily be installed under the vanity and one is needed in the shower. The door to the washroom is opaque and has a gap between opaque glass and doorframe, so uncomfortable when travelling with a friend versus a spouse. Loved the coffee maker in the room - like a Nespresso - and plenty of drinking water which was so appreciated. I will recommend this hotel and would defintely stay again."

"Overall, I truly enjoyed my time at this property. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. They always made me feel welcomed and were very helpful. The room was phenomenal too - especially my view of table mountain. This place was well worth the money!"

"For business, I had to checkout of the hotel, but I checked back in a few days later. My only issue with my second stay was the AC wasn't running cold so I was a little hot at night. Nothing too bad though. The cleaning staff was great too. My second stay was just as enjoyable as the first. I needed an airport transfer so I settled on a time, when I went to check with the transfer company, the told me it would be better to leave earlier due to intense traffic. I'm so glad they informed me so I could change the leave time. "

"lovely aparthotel centrally based surrounded by various dining options & convienence shops decent size room , good wifi , nice hot shower, big enough size fridge , microwave & hob in the room good size & comfy bed cleaning staff excellent reception staff very professional & helpful area around the aparthotel allegedly a bit sketchy at night but i experienced no problems would definitely use residency again if i stay in the central area of cape town "

"Staff showed excellent training in customer service. Food was excellent including presentation. The bed was very comfortable as we slept way past our normal sleeping hours! The hotel is surrounded with shopping and has a variety of restaurants. Cost of everything is half of the prices in USA. We highly recommend staying at the Canopy Hilton in Longkloof!"

"This was an absolutely stunning property. The location, the views, the property itself, the breakfasts and the service were all 5 star. One of the best properties that I have ever stayed at. Only drawback some may find is that it is a bit out of the way - but with dinner transportation to the CBD and waterfront included and a distance of only 10 minutes. "
