Tomelilla Municipality Vacation Rentals

"The good: best breakfast at any stay ever, real Canadian maple syrup, real quality bacon, super high quality food. The view and surroundings were amazing. Can't comment on the spa as we didn't use it. The bad: I got a splinter in my foot from the floor in the room, staff didn't seem to care. Too many lights in bedroom you couldn't turn off or cover. Thermostat didn't seem to function properly at all and lit up when the lights went off (and it's next to the bed). Outdoor light always on and can't be turned off. No comfortable chairs or couch, and the kitchen chairs are rippled hard wood, like a ruffled potato chip and as uncomfortable as you would imagine. There was a kitchen, but no dishes or supplies and the front desk wouldn't provide us with anything, so don't expect to be able to use anything other than the microwave and the mini fridge. There is a washer/dryer which can be seen in the pictures, but apparently you aren't allowed to use it. The units are actually some sort of timeshare or they have owners, which is why you can't use the extra stuff shown, which was confusing and disappointing. The light switches are a disaster, they are all over the place and totally random in how they work, which will turn on nothing or everything, and they light up in the dark. The towels were so rough, like they have never been replaced/refreshed. We were looking forward to this place the most in our vacation and it ended up being the worst, we are glad we only booked one night."

"Otroligt mysigt boende, vi kände oss väldigt välkomna av värdparet. Frukost väldigt god med nybakt bröd, hemgjord smothie, hemgjord musli och marmelad. Fantastisk mat i restaurangen, vi prövade indiskt och det var så gott!!! Tysta rum, välstädat och sköna sängar. Återkommer gärna till detta boende. "

"The folks there are so helpful And friendly, the room is on the small side but comfy and our room had a little terrace to sit out on in the evening. The breakfast is very nice and the hotel is so close to the train/bus station and in the old town with many shops and restaurants."

"This B&B is not central but a 15 minutes walk is reasonable for us. We received a code prior to our arrival to enter the building and the key was in the door of our room, ready for us. Not a big room but still comfortable. I didn’t realised before booking that the bathroom and shower were outside the room and shared, but thy were dhared with only one other room and clean. The shower (room?) was pretty small, adding some hooks would be useful. The breakfast was good: good coffee, bread, jam, butter, fish, cheeses, vegetables, cereals, yogurt, juices, different kind of milk… very good in general with a warm welcome from the owner or the person who worked there. We had the option to eat outside on the patio too. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised. It felt a little but lore like a hostel but this is not negative, in fact people were nice and the place was clean, quiet and comfortable."

"Great Breakfast - good ambiance and food was delicious. Apple and Pear Orchard was a Plus - love the beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Guy - Owner was very friendly and accommodating, we appreciated the hospitality while staying at Stora Herrestad. We will definitely consider staying again in the future . "
