Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

We didnt feel comfortable so we just left.. the worst part? Hotels.com was never able to reach the manager, so we never got refunded for the money. we did NOT stay here, so i would think twice before staying here. If you are okay with staying with a caretaker, why not? but we just didn't feel comfortable and something about this place was OFF and...

The appartment was very neat and clean as well as secure with all facilities including stat of the art swimming pool. The owner Mr. Don was very helpful and supportive and assist us in all manners. "I stayed at Marino Beach Hotel for five nights recently and it was perfect. The staff made the biggest difference in my stay, they were friendly, available, and provided services immediately. This makes a big difference when you are jet lagged and need something early in the morning or late at night. During this trip, I happen to go to the other popular hotels in Colombo and realize how friendly and nice Marion’s staff were in comparison. The rooms were clean and staff was available to clean/help at all times. Hotel is attached to a mall so it made shopping and getting meals outside the hotel easy. There are plenty of restaurants around. Easy to get a taxi/uber. Beautiful roof top pool area, clean, secure, and with a view. The only complaint is that even though we had a sea facing balcony, the balcony smelt like food/kitchen fumes so we didn’t go outside at all. It would have been nice to seat outside and get some fresh air."
