"We arrived later than expected and after the kitchen closed. The team were waiting for us patiently and prepared cold, but delicious dinner for us in our room. This was really unexpected, but very welcome after a long and arduous drive. We felt very well looked after. The room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. "We were made to feel very welcome by the hotelier and staff even though we had to make a last minute change to our booking. The room and en suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the centre of town. Breakfast choices were limited and lacked cereals for instance. This comfortable hotel would benefit from some redecorating, particularly the entrance and stairs, but this is easily offset by the warm welcome offered."

"For the price, this property is great. I wouldn't take my family on vacation here, but for 1 night passing through, it checked all the boxes. Though the hotel itself and all its furnishings are very dated, everything was perfectly clean. The bathtub, toilet, flooring, etc. were all likely from the 1960's but their cleaning staff does a great job and I was not bothered by the fact that things were old. Some downsides: No AC, internet didn't work in our room, TV is very small, no elevator (and...
