"Hotel Xauen is a gem in the center of Jaén. Come and check this hotel out. From the hotel you see spectacular views of the city of Jaen. This hotel’s bathroom was so clean and well put together that I actually could not leave without taking a picture of it. The staff at Hotel Xauen was courteous and professional. "This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"
