"The bed and pillows were the best I've ever slept upon. Breakfast selection good with hot and cold options (however the hot food was lukewarm sadly), juice and fruit. It was a good value. My only complaint would be that the carpet on the stairs was filthy and in disrepair and there were cardboard boxes with supplies on the floor in guest areas. Also, the hardware in the bathroom was in disrepair, and the corners in the bathroom were cruddy with old dust and dirt. It was just esthetically disgusting. But...the bed...primo...chef's kiss"

"The hotel smells wonderful when you first enter the lobby. The staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. The rooms are clean, the water is hot in shower and beds are comfortable. Pool is nice especially if you have children with you . If I had one thing that could use improvement is the Bacon it is a little thin. I recommend this Quality Inn for your stay in west Plains.Easy access, centrally located and next door to delicious Coffee, pastry , sandwich shop."

"Room was clean upon arriving. No one checked trash or anything the 2 days while there. Air conditioning worked great! It was muggy and hot! The bed was ok. If you like firm this is your place! Pool wasn't open yet but looked good! Free breakfast was cold cereal. Not very appetizing. Now the cons- I reserved a deluxe room with a jacuzzi and it wasn't honored. The motel said I had to call Hotel.com. When I did the customer service agent was very helpful but they wouldn't budge. Stated they (the motel) never got the updated room change and it was already reserved. There was no conversation to try to accommodate or upgrade us from the motel. Nothing."

"We were originally only going to stay one night, but we ended up staying three nights and loved it. Tina was the reception gal and she was amazing. She helped us find all kinds of places to go to and things to see there is really no Internet until you get to it. It was such a beautiful place. I loved feet dipping in the stream by the bluffs behind the hotel. The restaurant was nice clean and convenient. Tina gets the gold star. Thank you so much, Tina.!!! You rock!"

"The property was older but clean and bed was comfortable. Couple of issues overshadowed an otherwise satisfactory stay. One was the toilet that took 5 minutes to fill back up with water in order to be able to flush The other major issue was there was no hot water in the morning. The desk clerk had no sense of urgency about the issue and said her son would have to take a look at it. By this time we had sponged bath and were ready to check out. "

Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Plains Southwest by IHG

"We have stayed at this property many times in the last several years without issue but, our most recent stay was not pleasing. We were awoken in the wee hours of the morning by a group of young people running and screaming in the hallway outside or our room. When I reported this to the person at the front desk upon checkout, I was offered the excuse of "We had a college tennis team staying here last night" like it was acceptable behavior. I told her it wasn't acceptable for them to act like animals and that we were very displeased with out stay. She simply gave me an "Oh Well" gesture and sent us on our way. Everything else about the property was great. The complimentary breakfast was especially good. The person in charge does a great job of preparing a nice variety of fresh hot breakfast items."
