"We had a great stay at Pestana. I must admit, it did not stat well. We stayed on south of Sao Tome and a day before our booking, I called the hotel to ask if they have a free boat transfer for guests. The very unfriendly person on the phone told us to be at the dock at 10am. We came to the dock, boarded the boat and after arrival they wanted us to pay 42 EUR for it. "We had a great stay at Inhame. After a rather scary drive down south through fog, rain, potholes wet palm plantations at dusk, the lodge’s sign of entering a stress-free zone was only too welcome. Rides to the Ilha Rolas and the walk to Praia Vanha arranged easily. Rhe breakfast excellent and all very clean."

"BomBom is simply magical. The natural beauty is unrivaled only by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Coming from the US without any Portuguese speaking skills was scary but the people here made it comfortable immediately. Would give BomBom 100 out of 100 stars!"

"Belle petite maison dans le coeur de Santo Antonio. Facile d´accès et proche de tout commerce : boulangerie, marché, poste, supermarché, restaurants... La maisonette est très bien équipée, climatisation, cuisine équipée, gaz, salle de bain avec eau chaude, Internet haut débit (voire directement avec CST) et petit jardin. Food is subpar and uninteresting, activities are difficult to organize, and staff - despite being largely well-intentioned - is useless. Separately, I had a horrible time checking out. "This hotel has seen its day; for a few dollars more per night you will get much better service and quality at the sister hotel just along the road 5 minutes walk and right on the beach. I was glad to see the back of it, after leaving I realized that they still charged me for the airport collection where I was waiting for nearly 1 hour.
