"Excellent stopping off hotel on our way south and returning north. Superb staff, comfortable, albeit small room and good breakfast. Easy reach of the town centre and the autoroute. We have used plenty of Ibis hotels before and will use this one again."

"Wow!! What can I say? What a beautiful charming B&B. I have to admit, I was curious/concerned about such an old facility but given the recent renovation/remodel, job well done. Everything has been updated, (fixtures, windows, etc). The owner is extremely welcoming and accomodating. Not a day goes by, now that we're home, that we miss waking up at Le Clocher de la Duchesse. "One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Architecturally splendid, and a true 5 star hotel. The service was impeccable and the dinner and breakfast were elegant and well done. A great hotel for a romantic few days or a family outing. If you are driving, it is about 50 min from Fountainebleu and 25 minutes from Chartre."

"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."
