"No question the nicest motel in the price range that we paid. Breakfast was better than any other motel that we’ve previously stayed in that price range. And the motel was much nicer."

"The hot tub that was advertised was out of service, had been for at least a week already. The TV in the room did not work. Both the sink and tub drains were plugged and didn't keep up draining well. There was only one staff member working who was doing everything from bartending to check in to anything else that needed to be done. She was doing the best she could do with what she was working with however more staff was needed and better response to things not working was needed."

"Pros: comfortable bed, friendly staff, plenty of hot water and water pressure, view of the river Cons: chain on door is rusted, door didn’t shut without a good push, the use of “used” containers for breakfast yogurt condiments, non-environmentally conscious plates, cups, silverware. "

"Never stayed there. After 3 days awake in airports due to weather canceled flights, I Googled “Affordable Hotel with breakfast and fitness room in Jacksonville, North Carolina.” Then Expedia populated with “Best Western Jacksonville Inn” and I booked a room for 2 nights. Exhausted, I then drove to Jacksonville, North Carolina only to learn Expedia’s advertising left out “Illinois,” which meant my booked location was a 15 hour drive away. The booked property pointed to Expedia and Expedia pointed to the property and I am simply the loser who will NEVER, EVER use Expedia EVER again. Neither would you or the folks at Expedia who place a higher value on rejecting my refund application than keeping me as a customer. Rules smules. You AND Expedia’s brass would want their money back."

"Room had a funny smell to it and felt muggy. Pool was nice. Shower body soap and shampoo were empty. This is not what i would expect from a national brand hotel. I would not stay here again.l"
