"First off, I expected a lot more from this place. It is dubbed as a "luxury" houseboat, but it had very little hospitality. There was a "welcome bag" in the kitchen with 1 roll of toilet paper (why not just put it in the bathroom??), some cleaning cloths, enough coffee for 2 cups, a tiny pouch of soap for one shower and some trash bags. The bed linens aren't even put on the beds; we had to do it ourselves! No towels either. We were expected to take out the trash, too. The price was waaaay too...

"Very cute hotel in a beautiful area with loads of trees and nature. The historical museum re the 1944 Market Garden history is very close by and was one of the best museums I have seen. There are great restaurants around as well. This hotel is just a quick 15-minute bus ride to Arnhem which is a cute smaller city with loads of great restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant which has a wonder buffet breakfast that won't disappoint. The restaurant also has service Monday - Saturday in the evening. We stayed on Sunday night so were not able to try out the restaurant's food in the evening. The hotel is wonderfully set up with loads of areas for a nice coffee or drink. The only thing is the hotel does not have air-conditioning. So, the room was a bit warm even with the fan. We didn't mind but for some people this may be difficult."

"From check in to check out I had very little to complain about. Great hotel, lots of places to eat nearby, the lady who checked us in was amazing and so helpful, our room was a family room and it was massive. I think the only slight downfall was the mattresses seemed quite well used as we rolled into dips in the beds but it was still comfy enough."

"Comfortable beds in a spacious room. Great location in the centre and easy to park on site although it did cost 32 euros a day. Breakfast choices were good, hot and cold. Lots of shops and restaurants just round the corner. Abit of noise at night from outside as people went by our room but the location was worth it. Really friendly and helpful staff."

"The property is beautiful and although the building is old, the rooms were updated with modern finishes. We used the amenities, including the pool. We rented e-bikes, and it was convenient, if a little expensive. Staff were very helpful, including providing advice on local bike routes. We had breakfast one morning in the dining room. Unfortunately, it was a very busy day, and some food was not available as it was quickly taken by the many other guests that morning. The bar/lounge in the lobby closes early (11pm) and we were not able to order snacks in the late afternoon as they were too busy with dinner service. Overall, a lovely stay and beautiful spot."
