"The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. However, the evening cocktail reception from 5:30pm-7:30pm did not adhere to what was promised as part of the guest experience. We walked in at 7:15pm and there were no snacks at all. When I pointed out to the server there’s no snacks left and to kindly fill it, he told us “Sorry it’s closed.” I then gently reminded him the hours of operation of the evening cocktail reception and he said he will “ask his supervisor”. Only a bowl of popcorn was brought out. I then followed up if popcorn was the only thing served since 5:30pm and the server said he’ll ask his supervisor. Instead, I asked to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor apologized for the wrong response of the server that it’s closed when we walked in. The supervisor then stated he can bring whatever we requests. It’s not what I requests, it’s ensuring that all guests are accommodated from 5:30-7:30pm with snacks and cocktails still available, and not telling guests it’s closed when it’s still open."

"El hotel muy bien. Bien ubicado, limpio, buen precio, buen desayuno. El problema es si te quedas en el 3er piso. El 4to es la terraza y de las 6 noches que me quedé, por lo menos 2 no pude dormir por el escándalo en el 4to. Moviendo muebles hasta la 1 de la mañana, luego los viernes noche de fiesta y merengue con baile y taconeadera hasta la 1 de la mañana. Y después reacomodar los muebles a las 7 de la mañana. Cada mesa y silla que arrastraron la oí en mi habitación. Si te quedas aquí pide cuarto en el 2do piso!"

"Liked the hotel and the size of the rooms, but there are a few areas that should be addressed: (1) we were not provide the wifi password when we checked in...I assumed it would be in the room, but after a late arrival and shower I discovered around 1:00 that we had no password. Attempted to contact the lobby, but the phone in the room was inoperable and there was no answer when I called via my cell; so, I sent a text which was finally answered 1 1/2 hours later; (2) there is not lighting in the small alcove where one enters our room and the adjacent room, and it was so dark that we had to use flashlights to use the key; (3) there was no lighting in the "cabinet kitchen" in the suite, which made it impossible to use at night, and (4) there were NO CUPS OR GLASSES or any type of tableware, despite the fact that it was advertised as a suite with kitchen (and had two burners and a fridge). Fix these issues and we will be back again...otherwise, we will not. We live in the DR and travel to Santo Domingo frequently."
