"A few km outside Jaffna. Friendly informative owner who we had informative conversations. The hotel offered Sri Lankan menu - which we didn’t use as we were out and about in Jaffna. A variety of people staying at hotel , both srilankans and Europeans. Rooms were spacious . Bathroom could have been better maintained , we were happy overall. Would recommend if you are looking for a convenient interesting place to stay. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. "

"Due to the Full-moon celebrations we had made a booking days in advance, which had been confirmed in writing. On the day of arrival when we called the hotel to inform that our train would be an hour late, they claimed we didn’t have a booking. They even put the phone down on us. "

"Our group needed 3 rooms. 2/3 rooms the A/C worked. After the first night, the room with non functioning A/C we did let the front desk know. We don’t think any attempt was made to resolve the issue during the day. When we came back to the hotel and raised the issue, we were moved to another room claiming the A/C worked but it was marginally better. Rooms were never cleaned during the day. We had to ask for new coffee cups for the room. There were no towels provided till we asked. It appears...

"The wifi went down every evening. The breakfast is Sri Lankan vegetarian. I’m completely flummoxed why previous reviewers say the location is good. They seem to believe that its location between the city and the beach is an advantage. It is near nothing. I had to walk a minimum of 30 minutes to find a restaurant or a grocery store. As a result you have to drive to get anything."
