"Great location far enough away from Mirissa. Peaceful and welcoming staff. Difficult to find a spot to swim in the ocean but possible to take a dip. Hotel pool wasn’t cleaned early enough for us to swim one morning (not open until after 8). Sri Lankan brekkie available as well as eggs and Gandon’s style, serving sizes were very generous. "

"We had a great stay here and treated our Sri Lankan family. The chef and kitchen and service was phenomenal and the rooms were great. Lot of room. Ensure to enter the number of people you plan to have with you while booking, otherwise you might get surprising surcharges. I checked online and could have gotten the same rate I paid if I entered the right amount of people. The breakfast is really nice and the property overlooks great views of Galle lighthouse. PickMe offers cheap Tuk Tuks/taxis to unawatuna/ galle. "Location and overall appeal of the hotel is great. Some staff are really good and helpful. Most are courteous but the language barrier makes it super hard at times. Front desk was the worst and there was a huge gap in requests made to them and getting those executed by the staff. Cleanliness needs a WHOLE LOT to be improved on.
