"Pool bar was not open, no entertainment at all around pool side during the day, at night DJ most be more active and fun as such, staff didn’t know the activities in town to address visitors, breakfast should be served until 10:30am, no waiters coming around pool for service."

It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. What makes La Placita unique is its charming shopping center filled with local restaurants — and we had the chance to try them all! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special and the tacos Catrachos — both were unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A big bonus included with our stay was free breakfast, which was such a great way to start each day. La Placita has a wonderful reputation for making sure guests are enjoying their time, and most importantly, we felt safe from the moment we arrived.
