"This was a very unique hotel! Updated rooms, but hallways and restaurant area contained very cool antique furniture and pictures! Location was awesome, right in town, breakfast delightful and lots of choice, hot and cold food. Definitely worth $19. Would stay here again if in area! If good enough for Winston Churchill, good enough for me!"

"Rothenburg is a lovely city, and staying here makes the visit all the more special. Location is perfect, next to Markusturm. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and furnished --with comfortable chairs/sofas and beds. Bathroom amenities are high quality. Staff are friendly, helpful and caring. Breakfast is delivered to one's table in their restaurant. Highly recommended."

"Started out with a rather Kurt check in. We are aware of.the language barrier, but no need for rudeness. Room was okay, was a bit stuffy on an 85 degree day. Breakfast was a real pain. Almost every hotel we have stayed in, only a room number was required. As it turns out they wanted prepayment and made a scene in the service room. Not a terrible stay, but staff could be a little bit more aware of language and cultural differences."

"A stunning place to stay within walking distance of Rothenburg. Beautifully appointed rooms and public spaces. Attention to detail was spot on. Cleanliness was outstanding and the staff were very helpful. Superb breakfast. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in."

"Nice place. Staff speaks english. No A/c but windows open and cools the room. Bathroom and shower are small. Breakfast was primarily European but they did have scramble eggs and bread (no toaster, yogurt and cereal. One of the out bldgs did not have an elevator. So if you require one you might want to call them."

"The stay was acceptable as I booked a very small, basic room by design, based on reviews. Unfortunately, parking was more expensive than the listing states in the adjacent garage. It was only a few euros more, but this type of detail should be correct. Expect 25 euros, not the 22.50 euros listed. It was popular, but unfortunately had no seating available at the mid-point of the breakfast hours. It rates well and may be good for you, but I perhaps came in with too much expectation being it is in the Radisson chain."
