"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also.
Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service. Also you feel yourself like living in jungles absolutely alone as villa is not crowded and the staff appears only when needed.....

"Wir haben die Hikks Villa mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern gebucht. Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Strand, entsprach in einigen Punkten aber nicht unseren Erwartungen.
Während unseres Aufenthalts ergab sich folgendes Bild:
Die Küche war völlig veraltet und schmutzig (vor allem die Mikrowelle ist einfach nur unhygienisch). Auch das Geschirr im Schrank war zum Teil nicht sauber. Übliche Geräte und Gegenstände wie z.B. eine Kaffeemaschine fehlten. An einem Abend hat das Hauspersonal...
