"The actual unit is very nice and very clean! Lots of small appliances and kitchen utensils perfect for use. Everything was clean and organized. Some of the appliances didn't work however. The microwave wasn't working properly. Otherwise everything else i used worked as expected. Check in was a nightmare! The host was very rude and unhelpful. I had to rely on expedia's chat system with Hala Tysons to get my check in information. The website with the checkin information is so poorly developed...

"Good Breakfast - orange juice, apple juice, pancakes, waffles, eggs, cereal, coffee. toast, bagels, cream cheese, butter. Everything is there for breakfast."

The Watermark Hotel

"Watermark is a very polished and nice place to stay for your trip whether its business or casual. The morning breakfast is diverse, the staff are always helpful, the ambients is where watermark captivates. The hotel sits above a building where the streets are beautiful and clean and the rooftop offers so much view and amenities as well. Wren a restaurant inside of the watermark hotel has some of the best cuisine hands down so please give your time to check it out!"

Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park

"This is a newly renovated Marriott, with rooms on the top floors advertised as having been the first to get modernized/spiffed up. The other floors are presumably soon to follow. Upon check-in, they give you the option of "upgrading" to one of the upper floor rooms for a $20/night fee. Not breaking the bank, but also enough that you'd hope the experience was at least justify the outlay. My experience was sadly left wanting. While the room did sport some modern aesthetics (graphic wall design), platform bed (with marshmallow soft mattress, in case you were expecting firmer), laminate flooring at the entryway, a couple West Elmy furnishings, one couldn't escape feeling this was the same basic room as before with a little low-fi gussying up. The big disappointment, however, was a shower that went from low-flow and lukewarm to completely crapping out and not running at all by day 3, my check-out day. The front desk attendant was pleasant enough to offer some bonus points to my account as a goodwill gesture. Which was fine, but there are clearly still some wrinkles to iron out as they bring these upgrades online. Overall, it's a Marriott, so you're getting a safe, clean, standardized experience. Would give it a solid 3 stars, with room for improvement."

"The front desk was so helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. My only disappointment was our experience in the restaurant. We ordered a tortilla chip trio. Tortilla chips with a trio of dips. When it came, the dips were in very small ramekins and the chips didn’t fit in them. We ran out of salsa, guac, and cheese dip before the chips. The other odd thing was the cheese dip was served cold."
