"Absolutely LOVED my stay at Cherrystone. I visited from the US. My brother and sister live in Fouriesburg. I could not say enough about how comfortable and clean and spacious and welcoming this place is. They even have a cat visiting every day. "Our door didn't lock for the inside so we slept with an open door all night. There is no security anyone can just drive in because it seem deserted. It took us 35 min to just find a worker to help us. There are many many flies in the cabins. There is a TV not connected to anything. There is no cell reception, or WiFi so if something goes wrong well your on your own. The place is extremely basic and you are basically paying for the view which is amazing. "We absolutely loved our stay at The Crown Guest house! Beautiful artwork everywhere, comfy and quiet rooms and a wonderful breakfast. The guest house is also a 3 minute drive from a mall with restaurants and shops, so very conveniently located. Highly recommended for your trip to the Eastern Free State! Many thanks to the owner and staff for making our stay so welcoming and enjoyable. "

"We had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens."
