The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. "There are places you can stay and wonder if they are worth the cost. Rest assured this isn't one of them. Isolated, quiet and rural with a spectacular location in the North Wales countryside. Lack of light pollution makes the night sky amazing in the hot tub. The host is wonderful and the place is top drawer. If you want city service this isn't the place for you, if you want quiet rural bliss it is. Tiddles the cat frequently visits too, so if you like cats she is fab (thanks for the mouse...

"Freindly and fast check in, clean and pleasant caravan. Few more things in the kitchen and it would be ideal eg chopping board, mop ect. Would definatley visit again and location close to everything."

"All in all a lovely hotel with clean room, although no phone to reach out to reception. Staff very helpful and informative. Spa good but having to pay £10 as a resident was a bit of a liberty. Biggest disappointments were the main restaurant being closed off and instead we had to use the inferior small bar area to which all tables had been reserved and the main menu which didn’t have much of a choice with a high price ! Overall though I would stay again but maybe eat out within the town of Llangollen"

"The castle was large and interesting. It was fun walking through the sprawling hallways. The rooms were modernized enough for comfort, yet kept their old charm. There were several peacocks and hens walking about the property outside, which was amusing. The staff was kind and personable. Plenty of free parking. Unfortunately, if you are intending on using the spa facilities, especially massage, facial etc., you need to book much in advance as those were unavailable on arrival."

"I stayed at the hotel. A beautiful large room better than expected. The hotel also features a bar/club so be prepared for noise if you want to get your head down before 11pm. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. There was no breakfast buffet which would have been a bonus and quite frankly, is not difficult to arrange. The breakfast was poorly cooked with no finesse - broken egg yolks, food swimming in lots of grease and the water from the poached eggs soaking the toast - oh dear! Evening meal nothing to write hom about but adequate. May sound a bit negative but an improvement in the food would make this a five star review. Everything else was great. Lovely room, lovely location and very well kept grounds."
