"One of the nicer places to stay in Galway. New hotel. New pub in the hotel to look like an old Irish pub. Staff was nice. Room was very nice. 10 minute walk to the main shopping areas. O’Connells pub is like a 6-7 minute walk. Very clean and felt safe."

"I never review hotels but this one is an exception. Knockranny is a true gem, and if you are in the area, you won't regret staying here. Everything about this hotel is perfect - from staff to bed sheets to the hotel grounds. I'll have to come back to Westport so I can stay here again!"

"This is the first time we stayed. Usually it’s in town, but the offer was so good we took it on. I am very happy to have stayed. The breakfast staff are amazing and caring….such an import at part of the Irish experience. It is well run and food is very good. Thanks to all of you! The rooms were clean and detailed. Thanks for the wonderful four night experience. God bless you all!"

"This is my 2nd time in Galway and second time staying at this hotel. I love the location as it is within walking distance to all sorts of pubs and restaurants. Parking is just down the street near the train station and inexpensive. The hotel is a very nice property and the service from the staff was fantastic. I would not hesitate to stay here again if revisiting Galway."
