"The room in the Annex property about 150 metres from the hotel was compact and clean. Ideal for a single person. WiFi was excellent. Unfortunately I chose to eat dinner in the restaurant but did not get past the Amuse-Bouche which, though tasty, contained at least one shard of glass which though reaching my mouth did not get past the throat. When I brought this to the attention of a member of staff who had difficulty understanding my pigeon French interspersed with some English. She removed the glass without the expected apology nor any explanation as to what she was going to do with the offending piece. My hunger evaporated at this point, finished my wine for which I paid, and left. Breakfast in the morning was much as expected with usual mix of cold items and good bread. Would gladly return for the room but would chose to eat elsewhere. "

"Small room - but everything you needed was supplied - including water. Sadly no tea bags - but a selection of coffee. Good position in the town. "

"Room was fine but basic. Plus a lot of stairs to climb, one part of which had no banister. However the meals at dinner were fantastic. "

"Spotless room and staff were very friendly. A good breakfast buffet. Our only glitch was the fact that hot water to the shower took a very long time to come through. We thought there was an issue but you just needed to run it for another 5 minutes."
