"I’d like to leave a review for anyone who doesn’t want to end up on the street at night looking for alternative accommodation. On the day I needed to extend my stay, I rang reception and asked to extend my booking; I was told to do this via Expedia, which I did, but my smart key wasn’t extended. "Novel Hotel is a relatively modern resort on the shores of Lake Issyk-kul. It's location is at the far end of the strip of resorts centered around Cholpon-Ata. There are only a few General stores around the local Village and no restaurants, so eating options are restricted to the resort itself.
