"This was an unfortunate stay in an otherwise great trip. When we arrived they had no record of our booking even though it had been prepaid. We felt that since we had phoned ahead contingency plans should have been put in place before we actually arrived. As it was we had to wait and hour for alternative accommodation was sourced. "I was pleasantly surprised during our last visit to the Hotel. We used it as a halfway stop on the way back from Kimberly. The front-of-house was very friendly, good vibe in the restaurant/pub and the food was very good. One does have to realise it is a "vintage" hotel and if you would be so inclined, one could find fault everywhere. But I will definitely return again. The bedding was excellent and the bed massive!
