"Location is excellent. The room we had was new but very basic. There was no wardrobe, no shelves, no hangers - no place for your luggage at all. No cleaning or changing of towls during the stay. Very expensive for what it was. It turned out at the end of the stay that they apparently did not give us the room we paid for - and we were compensated some for that. People are nice and in general it seems like the try hard - but there is a long way to go for it to be value for money. The pool area was...

"We loved our stay, located a lovely 5 minute walk across the picturesque bridge from Chinon and it’s castle, this family owned and operated B&B was just what our family (2 adults, 2 children) needed. Clean room, excellent breakfast and very helpful hosts. Parking is quite easy even if it seems unlikely at first."

We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet.
