"Highly recommend staying here! It is about 40 minutes away from La Fortuna, but very well worth it. The host offered a night tour through the huge private yard and we say so many frogs and lizards! This was a perfect and quiet relaxing stay after a day of adventure. "

"Vacationed here for a short honeymoon stay. Great property. However, take into consideration that the property is a 3-hour drive from the airport and the hotel does not provide transportation (costs an additional $USD200 for private transportation from the airport). Daily breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very kind and accommodating. "

"We couldn’t have picked a better place for our family vacation. We were in Villa 16 and it was absolutely stunning. The property was clean and comfortable, the view was impressive, the pool was amazing, the kitchen was large and we loved cooking as a group big family meals. The mini super had all the essentials, the owners are friendly and super helpful. We had a large bus that got stuck and within minutes we were getting pulled out by the friendly staff. "Overall our stay went well, but our check-in was a mess. This reservation was prepaid (like dozens of others we’ve made with Expedia). For some reason the front desk agent gave us the hotel’s Expedia receipt he had created which showed the room a total of $63 USD cheaper. We should NEVER have been provided that information. It took some translation to figure out what he was trying to show us. Why, we’ll never know. The pool was great, the included breakfast in the open air sidewalk...

"Beautiful accommodations at the Arenal Volcano just outside downtown La Fortuna. The location is perfect. The grounds are incredible. The rooms are very charming. The included breakfast was also a nice touch (limited menu but everything is cooked to order plus fruit, juices, coffee, etc). The staff are astounding and super helpful. There was some mildew in the bathroom and the water pressure is very high, but otherwise the bathroom was very well kept."
