Top California Hotel Reviews

Hilton Anaheim

Hilton Anaheim

8/10 Good
"The room was clean and well maintained. But the thermostat was tricky to work. It was set to keep the room quite cool (66°F) and it took a lot of fiddling with it to either turn it up or off. That was frustrating. The other thing that is annoying but typical is already adding a gratuity into the restaurant bill and then asking for more. They know that most restaurant bills don't add the gratuity unless it's for a large party, but since the restaurant is part of the hotel complex it looks like where a regular restaurant bill would ask for a tip before the total. Thus the bill tricks the customer into tipping twice. It feels dishonest and is infuriating. Other than those couple of complaints, everything was great about our stay."
