"Only downsides was a daily resort fee but thankfully I prepared and brought my emergency credit card just in case. its only $40 something a night and we stayed 2 nights. and the parking was $62 a night, i parked across the street with SpotHero for $58 for the whole weekend. The breakfast was amazing. We got there around 7am-730am, did not have to wait in line and it wasn't too busy at all. Loved starting our day off this way! Pool was nice and clean, heated and not crowded at all. Loved the fire pits in the front. Perfect for the Ferris wheel, Pier 39 and Fishermans Wharf. This was our first hotel stay in San Francisco, and we had a wonderful time."

"I was having an extremely difficult time finding a property for my LA stay as I felt every place had bad reviews. However, I gave Freehand a chance and OMG! Amazing service and wonderful property! The rooftop restaurant and bar is delicious but I wish the rooftop pool was a little deeper and larger! I didn't even know the hotel was having a pride pool party which made us feel even more welcomed! The location was perfect for our weekend trip and near all of the necessary venues! The decor and vibe is 10/10! All in all, I would stay here again!"
