"I stayed at the British Colonial on a recent business trip and I have nothing but good things to say about the property. It’s well located and the rooms are comfortable. The gym is decent too. Food is a little on the pricey side, but this being The Bahamas, that’s to be expected."

"Had a good time here! Plenty of activities for everyone. We enjoyed the group activities and games daily. We stayed here for about one week. Great food, great drinks and friendly staff. We used the gym, the pool, the beach, dinner reservations, and even got a massage. The staff are bilingual and very friendly. We will definitely be back! The place is well kept and cleaned regularly. We felt safe and had a great time!"

"The hotel is gorgeous. If you’re looking for a quite relaxing vacation this hotel is a good pick. They have beautiful rooms with well equipped kitchens. The infinity pool is very nice. There’s not much else to do the hotel lacks activities. Not a lot of restaurant options within the hotel. And what is available the food wasn’t great, and expensive. Be aware of the time share “free breakfast” from luxury living. That’s a total scam and should not be permitted on the hotel premises. They lure you to sign up and later try to sell you a $28,000 package. That was a big turn off to return to this hotel ."

"Very nice resort, room, pool and private beach. Drinks are way overpriced! Just go to the liquor store and make your own. But if you want food past 7pm good luck you might have 2 choices. Food overall on the island isn’t good. The only great place to eat for a reasonable price is The London Bahamas which is only a 10 minute walk. "
