But the outdoor areas were overgrown and neglected: with very high grass; the access down to the water totally overgrown so not usable; the bench in the picture also completely overgrown and inaccessible; and the platform on the water was broken and not accessible. "Vi behövde ett billigt rum över natten vid en minisemester i Dalarna, vi blev mycket positivt överaskade att det var så bra ordnat med en liten egen lägenhet med kök o wc, uteplats o tv. Kommer säkert att vilja besöka Garpgården fler gånger."

"The host is friendly, she sent a welcome e-mail and instructions early and responded on questions quickly. The house is a few km out from Avesta on river bank, nice and quiet. One rents a one room + kitchen + shower/wc whereas there may be other guests renting other parts of the house. The house and the furniture are pretty old, but fully functional (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc.) It is the perfect place if one looks for a peaceful corner, wishes to make food oneself...
