"We stumbled on the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The room was large and very nice, breakfast was better than expected, and the hotel is pet friendly. I spoke with several people at the front desk while checking in and trying to print some documents for work and everyone was super helpful and friendly."
"So the pool is completely out of use. One finds this out by a sign at check-in. I would have chosen a different hotel, had I known. We went there specifically for the use of the pool. The property was slightly run down; tears in wallpaper, simple things like that. I felt I should have had a partial refund for the pool area being completely closed, but no. The breakfast was nice, however."
"Great hotel. Rooms very clean and comfy. Only problem was one (out of 2) elevators was not functional. Needs to be fixed asap as the wait for the one elevator was LONG and very crowded once in! Stayed 5/29/26-5/31/26."
"This is an absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff was more than friendly! Breakfast was great! Will definitely stay again if ever in downtown Des Moines!"
